2025 — Started IT Education in Japan
Published: 2026
After completing my Japanese Language course, I decided to take another important step in my education. In 2025, I enrolled in the IT department at Nagoya Mirai Technical College to study Information Technology.
Why IT?
Technology has always interested me, and I wanted to develop practical technical skills that could lead to a professional career. I became particularly interested in software development and programming.
My previous academic background was in International Economics and Trade, so moving into IT was a significant change. However, I saw it as an opportunity to learn something new and build a different professional future.
Starting Programming
My IT education introduced me to programming concepts and development technologies. I began working with languages and technologies including Java, Python, C, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.
Each technology taught me something different. Programming helped me develop logical thinking, while web development showed me how websites and applications are built.
Learning Through Projects
I quickly realized that projects are one of the best ways to improve technical skills. Instead of only studying theory, I wanted to create software that could demonstrate what I was learning.
This motivated me to work on personal projects, including store management software and this portfolio website.
Combining Japanese and IT
Studying IT in Japan also means that I am developing both technical skills and Japanese communication skills at the same time.
This combination is important because my goal is to work as a software engineer in Japan. I want to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues while also contributing technically to software projects.
My Future Goal
Starting IT education was an important turning point. I am now working toward a career in software engineering and continuing to build my knowledge step by step.
There is still a lot to learn, but I am excited about the direction I have chosen.
